My Journey to The Virgo Lens

My name is Ambre Guterl, and I am a Being & Gathering Photographer based out of Western New Jersey.

I'm a small town Virgo girl that married her Virgo husband back in 2021 and have spent just shy of two decades loving the life we've built together and continue to build everyday. With a dream of owning a farm and starting a family of our own we both set on a journey to bring our dreams to life therefore creating the life we want. We support one another in our journeys and I wouldn't be where I am today without him by my side.

The Virgo in me brings a very special element to my images and my style of photography.

I have been capturing memories for myself and others for about 17 years. It started as just a fun hobby, dressing my friends and family up and going out shooting at various locations, but it didn't take me long to discover that photography was more to me than just a hobby, it was my art form and my life's purpose.

As a New Jersey licensee Esthetician I bring my love for makeup and the beauty industry and my photography together to capture inner & outer beauty of each and every being I photograph.

I'd be lying if I said the idea didn't come without fear and self-doubt. I put my camera down for a long time and went through a period of feeling very lost and unfulfilled. I doubted my skills and kept telling myself that the industry was too competitive and spent too much time comparing myself to other photographers in the industry.

That was until I picked up that camera again and reminded myself that photography is what I LOVE! For me capturing moments that sometimes go unnoticed is what I do best. This is my purpose and through manifestation and the support from those around me, I'm making my own dreams come true.
